Dr. Kai-Fu Lee is the Chairman and CEO of Sinovation Ventures and President of Sinovation Venture's Artificial Intelligence Institute. Prior to founding Sinovation in 2009, Dr. Lee was the President of Google China, and senior executives at Microsoft, SGI, and Apple. Dr. Lee received his Bachelor degree from Computer Science from Columbia University, Ph.D. from Carnegie Mellon University, as well as Honorary Doctorate Degrees from both Carnegie Mellon and the City University of Hong Kong.He co-chaired the Artificial Intelligence Council for the World Economic Forum Center for the Fourth Industrial Revolution and is highly recognized as “TIME100 AI” Top 25 AI Leaders in the World, 100 Most Influential People in the World by TIME Magazine in 2013, WIRED 25 Icons, and followed by over 50 million audiences on social media.

Lucy is the Founder and Managing Partner of Token Bay Capital - a venture capital fund investing into Web3 and crypto startups with a presence in Hong Kong and Abu Dhabi. Lucy has focused exclusively on the crypto space since early 2018. Before founding Token Bay, she was a senior leader of PwC’s global crypto team where she advised entrepreneurs and financial institutions on their crypto and blockchain projects and worked with central banks and other regulatory bodies to help formulate their crypto asset frameworks and policies. Lucy has a traditional finance background having worked in banking and asset management for Goldman Sachs, Credit Suisse, and Schroders. In 2023, she was appointed by the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) as a Member of their FinTech Advisory Group to help facilitate policy deliberation in the Web3 space.

Cindy Zhang is the Executive Director at Gobi GBA, a role she assumed in 2020. Before joining Gobi GBA, Cindy built a robust career in the financial sector, demonstrating her expertise and commitment across several prominent organizations.

Cindy began her professional journey at PwC, where she worked as a Senior Associate. In this capacity, she honed her skills in financial analysis, risk assessment, and strategic advisory services.

Following her time at PwC, Cindy transitioned to Guggenheim Securities in New York. Here, she served in the investment banking division, where she was involved in financial transactions, and capital raising activities. Her role at Guggenheim Securities allowed her to leverage her analytical skills and deepen her understanding of the complex dynamics of global finance.

She earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the University of Waterloo in Canada, where she specialized in finance and economics.

In her current role at Gobi GBA, Cindy is an Executive Director on the investment team, managing investments, and driving the firm’s growth initiatives. Her leadership and strategic vision continue to propel the organization forward, making significant contributions to its success in the competitive landscape of global investment.
